Can I use FFG sleeves with your inserts?
FFG sleeves are fine sleeves, but they are tall! The FFG sleeves will work great in the ASB-001/002/003/004 inserts. The will also work in the MW-001 inserts as well as the EXT-001/003 chests. Beyond that, you will find that they bend in the other inserts or stick up above the divider walls in the vertical inserts. Last updated: Mon, Dec 30 2013 12:13 am EST
What sleeves do you recommend?
For all around compatibility, I use Ultra Pro Deck Protectors. You may prefer Mayday Premiums. More information on sleeves and how to determine how many cards you can store in any insert can be found here: http://go7gaming.com/sleeving-cards-our-inserts/ Last updated: Wed, Nov 27 2013 2:53 am EST
Wow! I want to pledge, but there are so many choices…
Apologies! We have a ton of great stuff we want to bring to the world. The best approach is to look over the pledge levels and find the item that interests you closest to the bottom. If it begins with [+], your shipping is covered. Now, you can scroll to the add-ons menu and decide what you want to add. Add your add-ons to your original pledge (pledge + add-ons cost) and you are all set. We will capture your actual product wishes during the post-campaign survey. What’s with all the double-sided tokens?
We’ve designed many of our token sets as double-sided to reduce token clutter during games. Your mileage may vary. If you’ve pledged for tokens that are double-sided, you may optionally request single-sided tokens. You will be given this option during the post-campaign survey. Can I use xxx insert with xxxx game?
Maybe! We believe we have identified the games each of our inserts is compatible with, but there are so many games out there, old and new. If you click the inserts add-on menu, you will land on our web page where you can find tons more information on each insert, including outer dimensions, amount of card storage available, etc. It is certainly possible to use an insert that is smaller than the inner dimensions of a game box if it is properly anchored (glue) or braced with other items such as deck boxes. Finally, the ASB inserts for use in the Artist Sketch Case and the EXT chests can easily accept any standard sized card, sleeved or unsleeved, so these solutions are a great answer if we don’t have an insert that fits into a specific game box. I need a Dominion solution and I own EVERYTHING!
Awesome. Dominion is a great game! Unsleeved Cards: The best bang for your buck is one artist case and one ASB-002 if you don’t mind only using dividers for alphabetical Kingdom card division (all A’s in one section, all B’s in another, etc.). Plus, you will still have room for a Dominion Bit Box for the tokens. This config only requires a total of ~38 acrylic dividers. I prefer this config because the entire collection is in one case. All of the rulebooks sit on top and the cardboard fits in the spare lane space. It makes for a heavy case, but everything stays in place due to the height of the insert. You will need two additional packs of dividers also. Sleeved Cards: Sleeving is going to basically double your space requirement so you need two artist sketch cases. The good news is since you are using so much more lane space, you don’t need the 6mm lanes in the ASB-003 to optimize the placement of your dividers. You can get by using two ASB-002’s and save some cash. Since you are grabbing two inserts, you will need one more pack of dividers. The Dominion Bit Box will store in this solution, as well. External Storage Chests The EXT-003 can handle Dominion sleeved or unsleeved. If unsleeved, you will likely want to use dividers per Kingdom set or you will have a few empty card lanes. For a fully divided Dominion set in the EXT-003, you will need twelve additional divider packs (it comes with 30 dividers). The EXT-003 has two bit lanes for the cardboard and a Dominion Bit Box. The EXT-001 requires your cards be unsleeved. You will need to divide the Kingdom cards into alphabetical groups and you will require two additional packages of dividers. The EXT-001 has two bit lanes for the cardboard and a Dominion Bit Box. Both the EXT-001 and the EXT-003 have a top tray for rulebooks. Last updated: Sun, Dec 1 2013 11:56 pm EST
I need a storage solution for LOTR: The Card Game. What should I pledge?
I have 3 cores and all expansions released to date (I store in my core boxes using 3 LGC-001 inserts). I use a divider for each expansion and for each sphere, as well as a divider for neutrals. Within the spheres, I use post-it notes on empty sleeves to divide card types. Using this config, I have filled 7 card lanes across three core boxes (including space for threat trackers, tokens, etc.), which equates to ~1977.5mm of card storage space (using Ultra Pro Deck Protectors). You can scale this solution accordingly. This solution leaves room for a couple of years of expansions. If you only have one or two cores, but all expansions, you will probably want to consider an ASB-002 inside an Artist Sketch Case. The ASB-002 has 1485mm of card storage space, so you will need two. If you only have one or two core sets, you are going to be right up on the edge… perhaps a bit over one insert, so two is the safest option. Your choice for the second insert is a little tricky perhaps. If you choose another ASB-002, you can use the same dividers and you will have enough room for 4, maybe 5 years of expansions. If you go with an ASB-001 (stores cards horizontally, you can save a little, but it uses a different divider, so that might negate the savings and complicate things. Finally, the ASB-002 has a bit lane so plenty of room for the threat trackers, tokens, etc. Moving into the chests, an EXT-003 has 2452mm of card storage available. As you can see, if you decide to invest in chests, you will have room for several years growth since your threat trackers and tokens will safely store in the chest bit lanes and free up additional card lane space. I pledged more than the minimum for a pledge level so that I can order some add-ons. How will you guys know what I want?
The post-campaign survey will allow you to specify add-ons that you would like added to your order. All you need to do today is ensure that you pledge enough to cover additional items. Last updated: Sat, Nov 30 2013 12:48 pm EST
What are the differences between the ASB inserts used in the Artist Sketch Case?
They all have 37 spaces for dividers per row. The differences between the four models: ASB-001: This insert stores cards horizontally and has no bit lane. 4 cards lanes. This insert allows the swing out document shelf in the artist sketch case to remain in the case due to it’s low profile. ASB-002: This insert stores cards vertically and has 3mm wood walls and a full size bit lane that can store a bit box. 5 card lanes. This insert requires the removal of the swing out document shelf in the artist sketch case due to the height of the insert. ASB-003: This insert stores cards vertically and has 6mm internal wood walls allowing for side-by-side dividers in all lanes (great for Dominion Kingdom cards) 5 card lanes. the bit lane in this insert is not big enough for a bit box. This insert requires the removal of the swing out document shelf in the artist sketch case due to the height of the insert. ASB-004: This insert stores cards vertically and has 6mm internal wood walls allowing for side-by-side dividers in all lanes. 4 card lanes. has a huge bit lane in the center that can store two bit boxes (only one BB-008) and more. This insert requires the removal of the swing out document shelf in the artist sketch case due to the height of the insert. Last updated: Sat, Nov 30 2013 2:28 pm EST
Can game boards be stored on top of these inserts?
LGC-001 - Can store the Thunderstone board and rulebooks. TRAIN-001 - Can store the Trains board and rulebook. LCGs- Can store rulebooks in all cases. The Warhammer Invasion boards will cause the top to lift some upon closing. The Call of Cthulhu board is almost a perfect fit. You won’t notice the tiny amount of lift from the board. The A Game of Thrones board will cause a tiny bit of lift on the box top when closed, but is almost a perfect fit. Summoner Wars Insert - Can store the rulebook. Can store the boards, but the box will not close completely. PZ-001 - The player shields will cause a small amount of lift. It doesn’t bother me. Your mileage may vary. In cases where storing the board with your cards is important, but causes the box to not close completely when using one of the game box inserts, consider one of the ASB inserts or EXT chests below. Any of the ASB inserts for the case and the EXT chests have some room for game board storage. The EXT chests offer a top tray that is 391mm x 299mm x 28mm high (15.39â³ x 11.77â³ x 1.1â³ high) inside and can accommodate pretty much any game board so the chests should be fine. The ASB-001 insert for the case leaves the case’s flip-out drawer intact and the drawer can accommodate a board of approximately 370mm x 305mm x 18mm high (14.5” x 12” x .70” high). The ASB-002/003/004 allow for something to be stored on top no larger than 400mm x 305mm x 11mm high (15.74” x 12” x .43” high). Last updated: Tue, Dec 3 2013 1:32 pm EST
Why are items slightly less expensive as add-ons versus the pledge tiers?
The pledge tiers incorporate the initial shipping expensive involved in dropping some items in a box and mailing them using UPS. The add-ons also incorporate a small shipping component, but this assumes that you have already pledged one of the tiers that begins with [+]. If you have not pledged a tier that begins with [+], you will need to add shipping to your pledge, per the shipping section of the campaign page ($7 US/$20 Canada). Other international pledgers may take advantage of the INTERNATIONAL PACKAGE or the INTERNATIONAL SMALL PACKAGE pledge tiers. Last updated: Sun, Dec 8 2013 2:38 pm EST
What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
